Re: Non-Dead -- Sittin on Top of the World |
Good that you didnt shlep out here this morning. Sea conditions were very rough and only one small Brown Shark and a couple mystery runoffs to show for our efforts.
Speaking of the Radiators; Isnt there a great Jam with Weir sitting in?
Somebody please link it up for us...

Re: Non-Dead -- Sittin on Top of the World |
I'll see if I can find that.
Off next two weeks so maybe I'll take a ride out on Thursday.
Quick search got 5 hits with Bob sitting in, the 1999 show has Rob Wasserman & Merle Saunders
ooops - here's the link

Haven't listened, but you do mean this show?
http://www.archive.org/details/Rads2005-09-10.sbd.d8.flac16One of best shows I ever saw was at Jazz Fest riverboat show which was Rads opening for first post-Lowell George Little Feat return show that featured Bonnie Raitt and a bunch of others. It was their first public return show (Feat). Rads are always fun. Squeeze the tip and suck the head

Re: Non-Dead -- Sittin on Top of the World |
You bet. I saw the dead and Sting in Vegas sat afternoon for a snoozer of a show but then the rads hit the stage at 2AM at the Aladdin that night/morning and played an awesome show until 5AM or so. Tough getting up early for the Sunday Dead show though. I used to see the Rads all the time. Must be 10 plus years since I have. Fun band to say the least

Re: Non-Dead -- Sittin on Top of the World |
This July 31st will be my first time seeing the Radiators (better late than never), and I'm taking my 17 & 14 year olds.
Should be interesting!!
Been listening to a bunch of their recent shows and am pretty psyched up for the show.

Thanks. Forgot the same. Saw them a bunch in early to late 80s. Always a good time.

True dat – always. Been thinking about it a bit and I’m pretty sure I’ve seen them more times than any other band (25 years ago) except Jerry and the boys. Nice video, thanks.

heading out on the Hudson now - but the only thing I'm looking to catch (+ IT WILL BE CAUGHT) is a buzz!
